Nonpoint Source Pollution Control grants, also known as Section 319 grants, are available to implement corrective or preventative projects or develop public education programs about nonpoint source pollution.

In February 2007, IEPA approved a Section 319 grant to The Conservation Foundation to facilitate the development of a watershed management plan for the Aux Sable Creek watershed.

Fox Lake VOC groundwater contamination Public Availability Session

The purpose is to talk with residents from approximately 20 homes about volatile organic compound (VOC) contamination in groundwater that may affect their private wells. IEPA is recommending that the wells be tested for VOCs from one former and one current dry cleaning operation.
