OSHA's
Public Service Announcement for Employers |
|
Occupational Safety and Health
Administration
Directorate
of Construction
In April 2003,
OSHA began distributing this radio announcement for Spanish speaking
employers in the U.S. |
FOREMAN
(concerned, calls out) |
Mr.
Sanchez. |
BOSS |
Oh,
hey Jose, How are you doing? |
FOREMAN |
Oh I'm OK. Did
you hear about the accident? |
BOSS |
Yeah, I called
the owner when I heard about it. They had a guy take a bad fall. He
wasn't wearing a safety harness. |
FOREMAN |
I'd like to
call a meeting of our guys to let them know how it happened - kind
of reinforce the whole idea of wearing a harness. |
BOSS |
That's a good
idea, Jose. You know, accidents are bad for everyone - our workers,
our business, our community. |
