Weather resources:

  • Enviro-weather web site offers Michigan weather data for making IPM and other management decisions.
  • Flood/excessive rain: Special Flood Issue of the 2004 CAT Alert newsletter.
  • Drought: 2007 mid-summer drought advice. Also 2001 drought affects on harvest reported in CAT Alert newsletter including recommendations for completing the growing season and harvest under drought conditions. 
  • Cool fall weather: The 1996 and 1997 Harvest Alerts address production concerns when cool temperatures cuts short the growing season. (Some updated in 2000).
