Vermont Rain Garden Manual (2008)
This manual is a Vermont specific resource developed for homeowners, landscape architects, city planners, or anyone else interested in protecting local rivers and lakes through gardening. Its contents are designed to clarify the installation process, demonstrate how rain gardens are cost-effective stormwater management tools, and illustrate how they can be incorporated into a variety of landscapes.

Northern New England Low Impact Development Conference (2008)

Winooski Rain Garden Project (2007)
A partnership between UVM Extension, Lake Champlain Sea Grant and the City of Winooski, the project informs Winooski residents about a cost effective and simple stormwater management technique that can easily be used by homeowners, businesses and municipalities to reduce runoff from their property.

"Don't P on Your Lawn" brochure (2007)

LCSG provided significant support to the Lake Champlain Basin Program in producing this brochure, which encourages the use of phosphorus-free fertilizers and includes "other tips for green lawns, not green lakes."

Modules (produced by Lake Champlain Sea Grant, 2006)

In 2004, LCSG joined with the Great Lakes Sea Grant Network in a series of regional workshops to provide angling group leaders, representatives of the sport fishing industry, interested elected officials, and other stakeholders with a better understanding of aquatic biology and sports fisheries science. The following two modules, adapted from these workshops, are designed specifically for use by anglers, local officials, and others who share a connection to Lake Champlain's aquatic resources.
