Heirloom Vegetable Garden

The Heirloom Vegetable Garden showcases vegetables grown from seeds that have been in this part of South Carolina for decades. Located near the Hanover House, the vegetable garden is maintained and cared for by students in Clemson University's Sustainable Agriculture program. Many of the vegetables grown here are sold at the Student Farmer's Market.

To visit the Heirloom Vegetable Garden, use the Garden entrance by the stone gates, near the intersection of Perimeter Road and Hwy 76. Veer left at the first fork in the road (toward Garden Operations). The garden will be on your right before you reach the gates to the operations area.
