Shatto Milk Company
Shatto Milk Company was awarded the 2007 Missouri Travel Council's Pathfinder Award. The Pathfinder Award is given to an organization that has succeeded in creating an outstanding niche market for tourism.
Leroy Shatto and his family develop their milk company from an idea to the thriving business that it is today. It’s exciting to see the Missouri travel industry recognize the benefits and enjoyment that agritourism businesses bring to Missourians and visitors to our state. When asked about his business, here's what Leroy has to say:
“Not everyone has seen a cow before, let alone been allowed to milk one,” said Shatto. “We are committed to making our farm a place where people can visit and obtain an understanding of where our milk comes from and how it is bottled.”
If you haven’t visited Shatto Milk Company in Osborn, Missouri, you should definitely put it on your list of things to do. A visit to the farm is a great family activity, not only can you see their Yummy milk being bottled but you can meet the cows that provide the tasty milk. You can even purchase your own bottle of milk right there at the farm. I highly recommend the chocolate.
Congratulations to Leroy, his family and the staff at Shatto Milk Company on receiving the Pathfinder Award!
