Home > About the Medical Reserve Corps > Grace MiddletonGrace Middleton is the Public Information Officer for the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (OCVMRC) in the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General.
Ms. Middleton takes pride in being the longest tenured member of the OCVMRC team. Her focus is to build awareness and support for the MRC. She oversees the development of and writes content for the MRC Web site, handles media inquiries, develops marketing materials and strategies for the program, writes news articles, and promotes the MRC by speaking and exhibiting at conferences around the country. Prior to the MRC, Ms. Middleton’s career in communication included managing advertising campaigns, producing sales collateral, and planning corporate events. In addition, she has been involved in recruiting, human resources, and business development efforts, working to simultaneously grow business dollars and retain strong employees. Ms. Middleton graduated from McDaniel College (founded as Western Maryland College) in 2000 with a bachelor’s of arts in communication. She is a proud wife and mother, dedicating as much of her free time and energy as possible into her relationships with friends and family.
