2008 EHDI Conference
The 2008 Early Hearing Detection & Intervention Conference will be held at
the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana
on February 25–26, 2008.

  • The deadline for registration is February 18, 2008 (Please note: Hotel special rate has been extended to January 30, 2008.)

  • CART and Sign Language Interpretation Services are available if they are scheduled in advance. Please indicate when you register if you will need these services (notice must be given by February 4, 2008)

    Purpose of this meeting:

    To provide a forum to present the most up-to-date information regarding EHDI programs and to promote information sharing and idea exchange between states, private industry, advocacy and partner groups, education organizations, and regarding the implementation and enhancement of EHDI programs.

     

    Benefit of this meeting:

    • Will provide a framework for enhancing the implementation of comprehensive, state-based EHDI systems and programs.

    • Will enhance the awareness of EHDI related issues among CDC, HRSA and other federal programs (for example National Institutes of Health, Department of Education), consumers, health providers, constituents, and interested partners.

    • Will provide opportunities for collaborations, partnership building, and sharing of successful strategies to address issues of children with hearing loss and their families.
