Hurricane Katrina Health Information and Links

In the weeks and months during our Nation’s recovery from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, veterans who use the health care system of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will need focused VA health care for consequences of the events caused by the hurricane as well as for their own acute and chronic health needs unrelated to the hurricane.

This page provides documents and links for veteran patients and VA staff who care for them on the special health needs of those affected by the hurricane and its aftermath.
