Title: “Early Bird” (senior audience)

SENIOR MAN: Early Bird Specials. Senior Savers — discounts are just one small perk of being 60 or older. Since most of us get by on a fixed income, they help us pinch those pennies.

SENIOR WOMAN: But there aren’t always discounts on the things we really need—like groceries. So here’s a little tip. Check out SNAP. It helps you eat right when money’s tight.

SENIOR MAN: SNAP is the new name for the federal Food Stamp Program. With SNAP, you’ll get a little extra help at the store to buy healthy food like fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Isn’t it time to start eating better and living healthier?

SENIOR WOMAN: You or someone you know may have a low income and be eligible for nutrition assistance. To learn more about the program and how to apply, call 1-800-221-5689. That’s 1-800-221-5689.

SENIOR MAN: SNAP. Putting healthy food within reach. A message from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
