The National Museum of the United States Air Force is seeking the following items for restoration and future exhibits:
B-17F components and repair parts to support the restoration of the Memphis Belleā¢, especially the following:
- (11) Walk around oxygen bottles (pineapple-size; part # AN6020-1)
- (1) Seat assembly radio operators (fits into the socket in the floor; part # 75-4133)
- (3) Housing assembly lamps (two in radio operators room and one in navigators comp; part # 9-5892)
- (3) Type A-17 fire extinguishers with mounting brackets
- (1) Dynamotor (type: PE-86-C)
- (1) Type C-1 lamp
- (6) Type S-8 lamps
- (8) Type A-6 cockpit lamps
