Conflict of Interest

The purpose of this Web page is to distribute electronically the materials designated employees need to file their Statements of Economic Interests.

As well, material is presented concerning how all employees must disqualify themselves from participating in University decisions if a conflict of interest exists.

The Political Reform Act also limits or prohibits the receipt of specified gifts and honorarium. The Act's requirements, as well as the University's policy on gifts, are addressed in the University of California Policy and Guidelines Regarding Acceptance of Gifts and Gratuities by Employees Under California's Political Reform Act; Limitations and Restrictions on Gifts Honoraria, Travel and Loans; and Travel Guide for California Officials and Candidates.

Some of these documents are Adobe Acrobat (pdf) files. You will need the free Acrobat Reader to view them.
