SERDP FY 2010 Solicitation and Upcoming Symposium & Workshop

SERDP SOLICITATION NEWS:

THE SERDP CORE AND SEED SOLICITATIONS WERE RELEASED THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2008. The Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) is seeking proposals in response to its Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 Core Solicitation and SERDP Exploratory Development (SEED) Solicitation. Projects will be selected through a competitive selection process. Details for both federal and non-federal submissions are available on the SERDP web site under Funding Opportunities.

The Core Solicitation provides funding opportunities for projects that vary in cost and duration. The Statements of Need (SON) within this solicitation request proposals related to the SERDP focus areas of Environmental Restoration (ER), Munitions Management (MM), Sustainable Infrastructure (SI), and Weapons Systems and Platforms (WP). For the Core Solicitation, pre-proposals from the non-federal sector must be submitted by Thursday, January 8, 2009. Federal proposals are due Thursday, March 12, 2009, via the appropriate SERDP Executive Working Group (EWG) member.

The SEED Solicitation is designed to provide limited funding for high technical risk and/or high payoff projects. Proposals should not exceed $150,000 in total cost and approximately one year in duration. This year, SERDP is requesting SEED proposals for the MM, SI, and WP SERDP focus areas. SEED proposals from both the federal and non-federal sectors must be submitted by Thursday, March 12, 2009.
