NH Counties

UNH Cooperative Extension has one office in each county, and the Family Home and Garden Education Center in Manchester.

Extension educators and support staff in each county work in the program areas of Agricultural Resources, Family and Consumer Resources, Community Assistance, 4-H Youth Development, as well as Nutrition Connections and Forestry and Wildlife Resources. Each office is part of, and supported by, county government in conjunction with UNH and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Each County program is sponsored, supported and guided by a county UNH Cooperative Extension Advisory Council of 12 volunteers, a County Commissioner, a County Delegation Representative and a UNH representative.
