The AMICO Library™ is a growing online collection of high-quality, digital documentation of works of art from around the world. Images, text and multimedia represent a broad range of works of art in AMICO Member collections, highlighting the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms. Cultures and time periods represented range from contemporary art, Native American and Inuit art, to ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian works, along with Japanese and Chinese works.

Review Sample Records from The AMICO Library to see the full range of documentation in the licensed version. Each work in the subscriber version of The AMICO Library has a catalog record and at least one still image (of at least 1024x768 pixels). Higher resolution image files are available (though not all distributors have them online). Many works include multiple views, enhanced textual documentation and/or further multimedia. These might be: sound files; curatorial commentaries; video clips; conservation history; provenance details; or exhibition and publication history. The AMICO Data Specification defines the full range of information in The AMICO Library.
