Postdoctoral Opportunities in MEL

U.S. citizenship is required for these appointments

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in cooperation with the National Research Council, offers awards for postdoctoral research in many areas. These awards provide a select group of scientist and engineers an opportunity for research in many of the areas that are of deep concern to the scientific and technological community of the nation. NIST, with direct responsibilities for the nation's measurement network, involves its laboratories in the most modern developments in the physical, engineering, and mathematical sciences and the technological developments that proceed from them.
These activities, comprising a broad spectrum of interests in basic and applied science, engineering and technology, involve many disciplines. NIST affords great freedom and an opportunity for both interdisciplinary research and research in well-defined disciplines.
