NIH Library Classes: March 2008
Learn new reference management and search techniques at classes sponsored by the NIH Library.
All classes are held in the Training Room on the lower level of the NIH Library. The NIH Library is located near the South Entrance of Building 10.

March 10: 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. EndNote Basic (X) Topics: Use EndNote® to import and organize references, insert references in manuscripts, and create bibliographies.
March 20: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PubMed Topics: Search the biomedical literature in MEDLINE® by topic, author, and journal; apply language, age, and publication type limits; and use the MeSH® (Medical Subject Headings®) Database to identify search terms.
March 20: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Reference Manager Topics: Similar to the EndNote session, but for Reference Manager® users. Import and organize references, insert references in manuscripts, and create bibliographies.
March 24: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EndNote Basic (X1) Topics: Import and organize references, insert references in manuscripts, and create bibliographies. In this class we introduce X1, the latest version of EndNote. Users of all EndNote versions are welcome to attend.
