Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Program in Virginia
Welcome to the Virginia Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) page.
RC&D is short for Resource Conservation and Development, a unique program that
helps people protect and develop their natural, economic and social resources to
improve their area's economy, environment and quality of life. Through project
stories and a variety of links, we hope you will gain a better understanding of
what the USDA-NRCS Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) program is all
about. We also want to share with you what RC&D is doing in Virginia to improve
the quality of life in our communities. A different project from a Virginia
Area RC&D will be featured here each month. Please feel free to contact the
RC&D in your area for more information and partnering opportunities.

people who influence how growth occurs becomes increasingly important.
To promote the ideas and tools for managed growth, the Tidewater RC&D
targeted its newest forestry course to county planning commissioners,
their staff, and natural resource professionals. |
