The Academy of Health Information Professionals
Track Academy Points on Your PDA:
Member Devises Academy Tracking Database
MLA member Peggy Baldwin, AHIP, library manager, Providence Portland
Medical Center, Portland, OR, has designed a database for keeping track
of Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) points on your PDA.
The database is free, but you need to install HanDBase from DDH Software,
which costs $24.95. You can download a trial version of HanDBase 3.0 from
ddhsoftware or palmgear.
The three integrated databases consist of the AHIP points index, your
AHIP activities, and a Help file. Baldwin has loaded a file of the databases
into the gallery on DDH Software's site. Go to ddhsoftware
and enter "MLA" in the keyword search box. Contact Baldwin
at 503.215.6075 with questions or concerns.
