The Winter Meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) is being held in conjunction with the AAAS Annual Meeting in Chicago. Meeting events will be located in the Hyatt Regency Chicago and the Fairmont Chicago.

Special room rates expire on 26 January 2009 and are available only through the AAAS/AAPT Travel Desk. Please do not contact the hotels directly.

Reservation and Deposit Information

You must register for the Meeting prior to making your hotel reservation. Register for the Meeting.

NOTE: Special room rates expire on 26 January 2009.

How to make a hotel reservation for the Meeting:

1. Reserve a Room via the Internet

   Reserve a room online for the Meeting.

2. Reserve a room via phone

   Call 800-685-0070 or 312-527-7300 during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CST Monday through Friday.

   A deposit of one night room and tax is required within each reservation request. Reservations will not be processed without a credit card number or check for deposit.

Checks—send check deposits to the AAAS/AAPT Housing Bureau

Checks are only accepted by the Housing Bureau with a mailed Hotel Reservation form in the amount of one night room and tax. Make checks payable to the AAAS/AAPT Housing Bureau. All checks must be in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. Bank. Wire transfers are not accepted. All checks must be received by 26 January 2009.
