Milk River Basin, Montana

Location
The Milk River study area is centered around Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge in northeastern Montana, about 7 miles east of the town of Malta. (Detail map pdf)


Status
Results from the studies for this Project indicate that irrigation drainage had relatively small concentrations of most constituents. Therefore, the NIWQP is no longer involved at this location.
