NIWQP Project/Study Area—

Dolores-Ute Mountain Area, Colorado

Location

The irrigated areas of the Dolores Project are located in the southwestern corner of Colorado in Montezuma and Dolores counties. The Dolores Project area includes the Mancos River in Colorado and extends into southeastern Utah along the San Juan River to Lake Powell. (Detail map pdf)

Based on the data collected in Phases 2 and 3, the NIWQP is no longer involved at this location.
