Benefits of AALL Membership:

Professional Development:
Membership in AALL offers the opportunity to tap into the collective knowledge of the group through Annual Meeting programs, educational workshops, and institutes. AALL Members are eligible for discounted registration fees at the Annual Meeting.

Financial Support:
The Association sponsors educational scholarships and gives grants to members who need financial assistance in order to attend the Annual Meeting, workshops and institutes.

Placement Services:
The Association offers placement information throughout the year to members and employers. Placement services and interviews with prospective employers are available at the Annual Meeting.

Publications:
The quarterly Law Library Journal publishes scholarly articles and practical pieces on law, legal information, and law librarianship. The AALL Spectrum, issued ten times per year, contains information about the activities of the Association. Published annually, the AALL Directory and Handbook is a complete listing of the Association's membership and description of AALL operations. Subscriptions to all three publications are included in all categories of membership.

Special Interest Sections
The Special Interest Sections (SISs) allow Association members to participate in smaller groups that deal with specialized areas of law librarianship.
