The 1997 Partners in Equality Award was presented to ARS Research Leader Shu-I Tu by the Philadelphia Executive Board.

The 1998 Project Accessibility: Visibility and Awareness (PAVE) Award of the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, for "Outstanding support to employees with special needs", was presented to ARS North Atlantic Area Administrative Officer John Crew.
