The NORA Services Sector Council requests comments from individuals and organizations on the current draft of the "National Services Sector Agenda."
The NORA Services Sector comprises approximately 67 million workers who are employed in eleven NAICS industry groups. This preliminary draft National Services Sector Agenda consists of seventeen strategic goals designed to address top problems over the decade. Fifteen strategic goals relate to ten specific sub-sectors and one goal each for Musculoskeletal Disorders and Surveillance relate to the NORA Services Sector as a whole. Strategic goals have performance measures to help gauge progress as well as intermediate and output/activity goals to describe the smaller steps needed to achieve the strategic goal. Strategic goals for Public Safety, included in the NAICS industry codes for the NORA Services Sector, have been established by a Sub Council and appear in a separate document.
The sector council seeks comments on the draft priorities, especially in relation to the most appropriate goals. Comments are also requested from organizations who will commit to advancing one or more service sector goals through partnerships.
