Of all the methods used to control low back injuries, the most promising appears to be ergonomic design of the workplace. This video presents common sense ideas that can reduce the number of times workers have to lift heavy items, and to better design lifting jobs when lifting is necessary. Several companies applying this approach have shown a significant drop in low back injuries and their associated costs!
