Northwestern Study Looks at Sensing, Movement and Behavior

Northwestern University researchers are the first to clearly quantify the stopping motor volume and sensory volume for any animal. In addition, they have explored the relationship between the two volumes, defined three modes in which an animal could find itself in relation to another object, and looked specifically at the Amazon's black ghost knifefish.
