Continuing Professional Education (CPE) strives to meet our core values, particularly in the area of life long learning. The strategic goal of continuing professional education is to ensure that law librarians receive the education and training needed to meet and leverage the challenges of the changing information environment.

Manage with Confidence: AALL 2009 Management Institute

From dealing with difficult people to developing a strategic plan for the library to building partnerships, new law library managers have a lot on their plates. The AALL Management Institute, held March 19-21, 2009, in Tampa, Florida, provides new and aspiring managers from all types of law libraries the opportunity to collaborate in small groups and learn from their colleagues as they develop the skills to manage with confidence today. The Continuing Professional Education Grants Program (CEGP)

The purpose of the AALL/BNA Continuing Education Grants Program (CEGP) is to encourage program development and promote sharing among AALL entities. This mode of continuing education allows AALL entities to participate in providing quality continuing education opportunities. Continuing Professional Education Media

The Continuing Education Grants Program funded many programs whose speakers have agreed to share a portion of their live programs to a wider AALL audience through audio/video format. In addition, the AALL-SIS Continuing Education Task Force graciously made contributions to this list of programs. These program snippets will be available for a limited time.
