Our Business Development Division's mission is to maximize positive impacts on the Kansas economy through the creation/retention of jobs and increased capital investment. As well as promoting the growth, diversification, and retention of existing business and industry in Kansas, the Division is responsible for the recruitment of new business to the state and the creation of new job opportunities for Kansans. The Division is composed of four different sections: Business Assistance, Business Finance, Business Recruitment and the Office of Minority and Women Business Development.
