National Employee Development Center

The National Employee Development Center (NEDC) is the focal point for training in the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The Center maintains a staff of employee development specialists, an audio-visual specialist, a facilities coordinator, and training technicians.

In addition to the NEDC staff, there are a number of NRCS employees from all disciplines who serve as members of the NRCS Instructor Cadre. This auxiliary cadre of instructors is vital to the success of training in NRCS.
