Enrollment Instructions for USDA Employees

If you are a partner employee (State, SWCD non-USDA federal employee) or TSP please go to the enrollment instructions for customers and partner employees page.  If you are part of the general public and have no direct affiliation with NRCS go to the enrollment instructions for the general public.  If you have questions regarding your status, as explained above, please contact Tony Lovell at the NEDC.

The following is a very brief overview of the process.  AgLearn offers detailed instructions on how to use the system on its home page.  To view these instructions go to the AgLearn home page and select "AgLearn Tour."

All training requests regardless of the delivery mechanism should be preceded by a discussion with your supervisor.

Enrolling in NEDC Self-Paced Courses (Web-based, CD-ROM,
3-Ring Binder, etc.)

A number of self-paced courses are offered by the NEDC and are generally available to anyone.  Before enrolling in any of these courses please talk with your supervisor.  Enrollment instructions are included on each course description page. Go to the course listing page to see a list of all NEDC coordinated courses.

Enrolling in NEDC Catalog Courses

  • Log into AgLearn
  • Select "Catalog" 
  • Browse under Subject Area Menu

The NEDC removes a course session from the list nine weeks prior to the start date of the session.  If you are aware of a session that is not listed and you wish to enroll, contact you training officer for assistance.

Enrolling in Non-Catalog Courses

  • Log into AgLearn
  • Select "Catalog" 
  • Browse under Subject Area Menu
