The Interuniversity Centre (CLEI) sponsors an innovative three-year doctoral program based on course work and research for disciplinary and interdisciplinary projects in Comparative Analysis of Law and Economics, Economics of Law, Economics of Institutions. Known informally at the IEL, study for this degree begins at the Università di Torino (Turin) and continues with research, which may be undertaken there, at other partner schools, or elsewhere. The Ph.D. degree is awarded by Università di Torino, following the presentation of the doctoral thesis at the end of the third year.
