Supports growers, handlers, and marketers of a wide variety of produce from artichokes to zucchini.
Small Farms & Specialty Crops
The UC Small Farm/Specialty Crops Advisor conducts applied research and develops information on the culture, handling and marketing to improve success with alternative crops on small farms.
Vegetable & Strawberry Production
Mark Gaskell, the UCCE Vegetable and Strawberry Farm Advisor, works with growers to address challenges and opportunities in crop production by carrying out applied research, extending knowledge through educational meetings and publications, and by assisting with the diagnosis of crop production problems.
