Public Meeting to Address Reclamation's Boulder City Historic District Properties
On Tuesday, January 27, 2009, the Bureau of Reclamation will conduct a public meeting in Boulder City to allow for public input on Reclamation's plans for historic preservation of their properties in Boulder City, Nevada. Reclamation properties include the Administration Building and the Date Street Complex.

The meeting will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Building 1300 of the Date Street Complex, bordered by Fir, Date and Colorado streets in Boulder City.

"We recognize the historic values of the Boulder City Historic District and the importance of working with the local community to maintain the integrity of the District as much as possible," said Deputy Lower Colorado Regional Director Terry Fulp.

"We have been working closely with the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation regarding our properties in Boulder City," Fulp said. "We would like to share our ongoing and future plans with members of the community."

Building 1300 can be accessed by driving straight through Reclamation's gate on Date Street and parking in front of or near the large, beige building marked "1300."
