The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Water Center implements and facilitates water and water-related research, extension, teaching and public outreach programming within the University of Nebraska system as a part of NU's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the School of Natural Resources.

UNL's 2009 Water Seminar Lectures

UNL's spring water seminar lectures begin January 14 and continue through April 16. The 14-lecture weekly series is offered each Wednesday, except March 19 during spring break, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Lectures will examine a wide range of local to international water and climate change issues | more.

Kyle Jackson Featured in first McNair Scholars Newsletter

Kyle JacksonKyle Jackson, Water Center Outreach Intern, is featured several times in the first issue of the "UNL McNair Scholars Program Newsletter". Kyle is mentored by J. Michael Jess, Water Center Associate Director. His project is entitled Evaluating the Niobrara Council as a Managing Stakeholder Partnership of the Niobrara River.
