Explanation of complaint between customer and invention promoter:

Davison has completely shattered my trust and faith in the invention industry. I felt over confident in working with a company that was interested in my ideals and dreams. A company I believed that would have my best interest at heart! I believed this company to be on the up and up, but now I’m leery of everybody that says they can help me reach my goals, to make my dream a reality! redacted (The Director of New Products) challenged the dreamer in me by gaining my trust and boosting my confident in this ideal, an ideal that was truly inspired by God! redacted thought the ideal of “The Dental Cloth” was an excellent invention! A package was sent to me by mail with a copy of the agreement the Commissioner of Patents form and $685.00 (from my pocket) US currency I made payable to Davison Design & Development, Inc. More communicated by phone conferences and mail. I felt more comfortable with talking to redacted that it was easy to share with the recent lost of my 19-year-old daughter, there seemed to be a bond growing between redacted and myself. I now realize it was for Davison’s gain not mine! The invention was inspired by God, for his glory and no other will take it from Him! He will make amends for me! I trust Him that much and am not ashamed to admit and claim Him as my inspiration of the “Dental Cloth”. What you have stolen from me, you’ve stolen from God! Be very afraid! The “Dental Cloth” is strongly believed to be The Oral B Brush up. Davison promised to cover the cost of a United States Provisional Patent Application for the “Dental Cloth” and the sample would be patent pending. I would receive a sample of the “Dental Cloth” and packaging sample. Only with my approval of he product would they precede making a proposal with Procter Gamble. I never received the sample product or any other communication about the sample product or any conversation that may have taken place with Davison and Procter and Gamble on behalf of the Dental Cloth. The last communication was by phone from Mr. George Davison informing me that redacted will no longer be involved with my product because of a promotion he suddenly received and that he would need $4,000 to continue to go forward with my idea! Two to three weeks later asking me for $4,000! I told Mr. George M. Davison I didn’t have $4,000 to send him for the completion of the product, he then told me that they were going to close my file until they receive payment, end of story. A cashier’s check of $1,000 and a signed contract for payments made after the company accepted the product would be made for $10,000 or 15% of earnings from the Dental cloth as written and agreed upon! A signed contract agreement was sent AIRBORNE EXPRESS TO redacted AT DAVISON on May 15, 2003! Not soon after that the Oral B Brush Up comes out! I’m not sad I’m mad at this point The Better Business Bureau has a copy of the lie filed by Davison after my written complaint.
