Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Emergency Overview: This material may cause eye, skin, nose, and throat irritation and may be harmful if inhaled. This material is a paint stripper. It is a green colored liquid with a mild amine type odor and flash pint greater than 200� F.
Primary Routes of Exposure:

Inhalation
POTENTIAL ACUTE HEALTH EFFECTS
Eye: May cause eye irritation. Direct contact with the liquid or exposure to vapors or mists may cause stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and eye damage.
Skin: May cause skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin to become reddened, rough and dry due to the removal of natural oils and may result in dermatitis. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin.
Ingestion: This material may be harmful if swallowed. Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Inhalation: Do not breathe vapor or spray mist Inhalation may cause respiratory tract irritation. Breathing high concentrations of vapors or mists may affect the brain or central nervous system causing dizziness, headaches, nausea, and drowsiness. Respiratory symptoms associated with preexisting lung disorders (e.g. asthma-like conditions) may be aggravated by exposure to this material.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis. Persons with pre-existing skin disorders or impaired liver, kidney, and pulmonary function may be more susceptible to the effects of this material.

Eye contact: In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention immediately.
Skin contact: In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention immediately. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
Ingestion: If swallowed, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. DO NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. May cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract with vomiting.
Inhalation: If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: From MSDS
Handling: Open containers carefully and close after each use. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean contaminated shoes. Do not use pressure to empty containers. Containers, even those that have been emptied; will retain product residue and vapors. Always obey hazard warnings and handle empty containers as if they were full. Use this product outdoors, if possible. If you must use it indoors, open all windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air movement during application and drying. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. Prevent the build-up of vapors by opening windows and doors to achieve cross-ventilation.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from incompatible materials. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Vapors of this product are heavier than air and will collect in low places, such as pits or degreasers or other poorly ventilated areas. Do not enter places where vapors are suspected unless special respirator protection is worn and an observer is present. Do not store near oxidizers, strong acids or bases. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
