MONITOR DISPLAY SETTINGS:
For best viewing results, set screen size to a resolution of 1024X768. To change settings in Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP, click "Start", select "Settings", click "Control Panel", click the "Display" icon, select the "Settings" tab, and move slide bar in the "Screen Area" to the desired resolution.

For the most effective color display, we recommend that you set your display colors to "True Colors." This is located in the "Control Panel" and is accessed in the same way as the Monitor Display settings.

BROWSERS:
This site will function with most browser types and versions. However to receive the best quality experience and all multimedia elements, Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Firefox 2 or higher, or Netscape 8 or higher, are recommended.

REAL VIDEO:
RealPlayer must be installed on your computer to view some of the videos on this site. RealPlayer for Windows 98 and later is freely available from www.real.com. Scan the page for the words Free RealPlayer to locate the free player which is sufficient for viewing the video. If you are using Windows 95, or other Operating Systems, you can get older versions of RealPlayer from the RealPlayer Archives. Check the minimum System Requirements.

WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER:
If you are using an Operating System other than Microsoft Windows, you can download Windows Media Player from Microsoft's Windows Media Download Center.

QUICKTIME:
Some videos require Apple QuickTime. You can download the standalone QuickTime player from the Apple web site.

CAPTIONING:
Some media files contain optional captioning.

To enable/disable captioning in RealPlayer 8 and earlier select Preferences by right-clicking in the video display window. Select the Content tab. Choose Settings from the Accessibility section at the bottom. Check (or uncheck to disable) the "Use accessibility features when available" checkbox. Select OK, then OK again in the Preferences window. You will need to restart the video for your changes to take effect.

For RealOne and later: Start the RealOne player. Select "Preferences" from the Tools menu at the top. Click on "Content" in the left pane, and check the box that says "Use supplemental text captioning when available."

For Windows Media on Firefox and other non-Microsoft browsers, the ActiveX plug-in needs to be installed to view optional captions. Note: The Firefox 1.5 plugin appears to also work in Firefox 2.0.x, and Mozilla 1.7.x.

If you experience any problems receiving videos, please let us know.
