2008 Atlas of Stroke Hospitalizations Among
Medicare Beneficiaries
The
Atlas of Stroke Hospitalizations among Medicare Beneficiaries is the
fifth in a series of CDC atlases related to cardiovascular disease. It was
developed in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services, and includes county-level maps of stroke hospitalizations by
stroke-subtype, race/ethnicity, discharge status, and co-morbidity.

Atlas of Heart Disease and Stroke Among American
Indians and Alaska Natives
The Atlas of Heart Disease and Stroke Among American Indians and Alaska
Natives is the fourth in a series of CDC atlases related to cardiovascular
disease. However, it is the first to focus on geographic patterns of heart
disease and stroke mortality and risk factors for a specific racial/ethnic group
in the United States. The Atlas provides insights into the geographic
disparities in heart disease and stroke experienced by American Indians and
Alaska Natives. The maps present county–by–county heart disease and stroke
mortality rates, as well as state–specific prevalences of eight major risk
factors for heart disease and stroke.Go to the American

Stroke Atlas
The Atlas of Stroke Mortality: Racial, Ethnic and Geographic Disparities
in the United States is the third in a series of CDC atlases related to
cardiovascular disease, which have been published through a collaboration
between CDC, West Virginia University, and the University of South
Florida. In this

on geographic, racial, and ethnic inequalities in women's and men's heart
disease death rates for the five major racial and ethnic groups. In this
