Your road map to healthy eating
These regional food guides include farms, farmers' markets, restaurants, stores and other businesses that sell local food and use sustainable production and business practices. The Atlases cover most regions of Wisconsin:
- Farm Fresh Atlas of Eastern Wisconsin. Directed to consumers in eastern Wisconsin.
- Farm Fresh Atlas of Western Wisconsin. Directed to consumers in western Wisconsin.
- Farm Fresh Atlas of Southeastern Wisconsin. Directed to consumers in nine southeastern Wisconsin counties: Ozaukee, Washington, Dodge, Jefferson, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Walworth, Kenosha and Racine.
- Southern Wisconsin Farm Fresh Atlas. Directed to consumers in the Madison area and throughout southern Wisonsin.
- Central Wisconsin Farm Fresh Atlas (Warning: This link takes you to a 63 MB PDF file). While this Atlas is not available online, copies are always available at the Stevens Point Farmers' Market and the Stevens Point Co-op. Directed to consumers in Adams, Juneau, Marathon, Marquette, Monroe, Portage and Wood counties.

The Farm Fresh Atlas began in 2002 in the Southern Wisconsin region as a project of REAP Food Group. The idea took off, and there are now five regional Farm Fresh Atlases in Wisconsin putting sustainable farms, farmers' markets and local businesses and organizations that promote local food "on the map."
Each regional Atlas is produced independently by grassroots coalitions including nonprofit organizations, farmers, farmers' markets, UW-Extension, Resource Conservation and Development District offices (RC&Ds) and University of Wisconsin campuses.
