The Agroforestry Industry Development Initiative is working to support the development and adoption of agroforestry practices for the benefit of all British Columbians.

With funding from the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC, the provincial Agroforestry Management Committee (AMC) is working with its partners to achieve its vision of a dynamic, self-sustaining agroforestry industry. The Federation of BC Woodlot Associations administers the program on behalf of the AMC.

Our goals are to:

  1. Develop partnerships among agroforestry practitioners and stakeholder organizations.
  2. Increase awareness of the benefits of agroforestry systems.
  3. Establish the means to link agroforestry practitioners and products with buyers and consumers.
  4. Develop a BC Agroforestry brand to add value for products produced from agroforestry systems.
