The University of Texas‐Permian Basin Falcons won the 2008 Heartland Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday in Odessa, Texas. With the victory, the Falcons receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, which is the Falcons first trip to the tournament in their short history as a NCAA Division II member.
