If you are looking for information on a specific aircraft or space object, try the Collections Database first, then the Web site. If you only want to know if or where an object is on display, search the Artifacts on Display list.
Searches are NOT case sensitive.
One word searches take longer. Use short exact phrases
or multiple keywords. Specific keywords
are best, e.g. "shuttle" or "saturn"
will produce better results than "space" or
"planets".
When searching for a specific aircraft or space artifact, using
the correct designation is important to receive valid results. (e.g. "B-29"
and "B 29" work equally well, but "B29"
does not.) If your search returns limited or no results, try different versions of the designation
or add more keywords such as the
manufacturer name.
