Wildlife Explorer Kits
These kits include activities, real animal artifacts, books, games, videos, and a teacher's guide. Themes include migratory songbirds, coverings, reptiles, giant pandas, the wildlife trade, and more. link tomore

Biodiversity Monitoring Project
Zoo scientists and educators are building long-term partnerships with schools and school districts to support student inquiry activities using Smithsonian biodiversity monitoring protocols and methods. The project focuses on planning, training, and capacity building. link tomore

Bridging the Americas
This program is a cross-cultural environmental education program that links elementary school classes in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., with classes in Latin America and the Caribbean through an exchange of art work and letters focusing on Neotropical migratory birds. link tomore
