Michael Keller, the Ida M. Green University Librarian, director of Academic Information Resources, founder and publisher of HighWire Press and the publisher of Stanford University Press has been named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), an honor bestowed upon members of the association by their peers. Keller was elected for extensive and innovative contributions to the dissemination, preservation and advancement of scientific and other scholarly literature through electronic and other means.

Five Stanford scientists were also named 2008 AAAS fellows.
