AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF LAW LIBRARIES
COMMITTEE ON RELATIONS WITH INFORMATION VENDORS

The AALL Committee on Relations with Information Vendors (CRIV) is committed to providing AALL members with up-to-date information and resources about working with publishers as quickly and efficiently as possible. CRIVPage is one essential tool for storing and delivering information essential to the establishment and maintenance of productive librarian-publisher relationships.

Our goal for CRIVPage is for it to be the law librarian's first choice among resources to consult for information about the world of legal information publishing. To do that, we have created a content-rich Web site to keep librarians abreast of what is happening in the publishing industry and, especially, what CRIV is doing to assist librarians and publishers not only to survive but to thrive in today's challenging environment.

We encourage visitors to CRIVPage not only to use it for their immediate needs - whether that be to locate a publisher's customer service contact information, identify the current publisher of a title whose original publisher has ceased to exist, or find a sample letter to use when returning a book to a publisher - but to bookmark it for regular consultation in the future. We pledge to keep it up-to-date and to add features on a continuing basis.

We also encourage you to share your thoughts about CRIV and its activities, including CRIVPage, by using the electronic "Comment/Suggestion Box".
