Summary:

Finding adequate, reliable water supplies and managing water resources is a complex challenge. These water supply and management needs result from new industrial development, increasing population, changing water use patterns, evolving regulatory requirements, new environmental issues, climate variability and, more recently, long term climate change. Golder provides solutions to these challenges with the services of experienced engineers and practical scientists with a wide range of expertise from civil engineering and biological systems to sophisticated modelling of physical processes. Golder staff have recent and relevant experience in raw water supply, water storage, dams and reservoirs, groundwater development, water treatment, drainage diversions, flood control, watershed management, water conservation and source protection. We serve municipalities, industry, mines and urban developments. We specialize in solving complex water management issues and regularly deal with instream flow needs, preservation of aquatic habitat, minimizing and mitigating environmental impacts, whether these issues are the result of climate change or new developments. Our breadth of surface and groundwater services includes clients in the mining, oil and gas, power, land development and forestry industries. We service government agencies such as municipalities, state/provincial and federal governments, as well as the private sector. Our services are listed below.
