Centralia Swine Research Update
The Centralia Swine Research Update started in 1982. The goal of
this one-day event is to provide short, concise updates on current
research projects in the area of swine production, with one feature
speaker on a particular topic of interest to the industry. It is an
annual event held the last Wednesday in January at the Kirkton-Woodham
Community Centre in Kirkton.

London Swine Conference
The London Swine Conference features internationally renowned speakers
who are recognized authorities in their field. Through presentations,
panel discussions and breakout sessions, these speakers explore current
and emerging issues and technologies that are relevant to commercial
pork production. The objectives of this two-day conference are to
provide a platform to speed up the implementation of new technologies
in commercial pork production in Ontario and to facilitate the exchange
of ideas within the swine industry. The founding partners of the conference
are Ontario Pork, the University of Guelph, and the Ontario Ministry
of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

Southwestern Ontario Pork Conference
The Southwestern Ontario Pork Conference celebrated its 44th Anniversary
in 2006. The mission of the Southwestern Ontario Pork Conference is
to provide informative presentations to the benefit of producers and
sponsor networking with producers. This one-day annual event, held
at Ridgetown College, University of Guelph, is geared to producers
from Kent, Elgin, Middlesex, Lambton and Essex counties.

Ontario Swine Research Review
The annual Ontario Swine Research Review is a compilation of one-page
summaries of pork research projects carried out during the year at
the University of Guelph and Ridgetown College and at Agriculture
Canada stations across Canada. The objective of this publication is
to give the reader an overview of research being conducted in Ontario
and at the federal research stations across Canada. Many of the projects
outlined in this publication are funded in part by Ontario pork producers
through Ontario Pork.

Pork Research in Action
The annual Ontario Swine Research Review was replaced in 2004 with
Pigs, Pork and Progress - Ontario Pork Research in Action. This publication
is a compilation of short summaries of pork research projects carried
out during the year at the University of Guelph and Ridgetown College
and at Agriculture Canada stations across Canada. The objective of
this publication is to promote dialogue, understanding and communication
about research accomplishments and activity funded by Ontario Pork.
