A Call for Papers
Research Publications on the Web
Responding to a growing national need for timely, accurate, and non-partisan agricultural and food law information, the University of Arkansas's National Agricultural Law Center has expanded and enhanced its Web site to include a wide range of research resources for the agricultural and food law community. Primary among these resources are the Center's Research Publications featuring original articles written by the Center's staff, legal scholars, and qualified practicing attorneys from across the nation.
Scope of Topics
The Center posts articles to its Web site that vary in scope, from a thorough discussion on business organizations available in agriculture to a parsing of the constitutionality of fencing law in the Midwest. Articles can be as short as ten pages and as long as a feature law review piece. The main requirements, in accordance with the federal grant mandates, are that the articles be objective and authoritative. They must also conform to the Center's publishing criteria for scholarship, timeliness, and accuracy, as determined by the Center's editorial board. The Center recognizes that practitioners and scholars in particular fields are the proper ones to select topics that will best serve the agricultural and food law community.
