At Oregon State University, we believe people of all

Housed in the Minority Education Office (200 Kerr Administration
Building), the Asian/Pacific American Education Office provides
services that will help enhance the retention, recruitment, and
academic performance of A/PA students. The office will assist you
with the process of applying to OSU, provide programs/activities
and resources, keep you informed of A/PA news/events and help identify
ways of getting involved.

It is our belief that students receive meaningful
and valuable life experience by getting involved. The Asian Pacific
American Education Office assists student in exploring ways to this
through:
- On/off campus internship
- Student organizations
- Leadership development
- Community services
- National/international exchange program

This Office provides the following outreach services
to help interested students better understand the application process
and gain more awareness about college life. E-mail us if you would
like more information about the following:
- High school visits -- Meetings with students
at their high school to discuss the importance of going to college,
go over the application process, college life, and other topics
pertaining to college.
- Community visits -- Meetings with community leaders
and members to share information about OSU, to talk about the
importance of encouraging their members to pursue higher education.
- A day on campus -- A one day campus visitation
program for those who are interested in applying to OSU or just
curious about the campus life.
